THỂ LỆ GỬI BÀI
1. Về chủ đề
– TRIẾT: Tạp chí Triết học và Tư tưởng chấp nhận bài viết và bài dịch của các học giả về các chủ đề triết học và tư tưởng, tập trung vào những vấn đề của Việt Nam và về Việt Nam.
2. Thể thức xuất bản
– Tạp chí ra định kỳ mỗi năm 03 số dưới dạng trực tuyến (tháng 3, tháng 7, tháng 10, ngày cụ thể không cố định).
– Ngoài ra, Tạp chí cũng xuất bản các số chuyên san về một đề tài đặc biệt được Ban biên tập (BBT) và Hội đồng cố vấn (HĐCV) tuyển chọn cả dưới dạng mềm và bản cứng (sách) với số lượng hạn chế vào những dịp nhất định theo kế hoạch (có thư mời gửi bài riêng).
3. Ngôn ngữ
– Tạp chí chủ yếu công bố bằng tiếng Việt. Tuy nhiên, nhằm quảng bá triết học tại Việt Nam, các bài viết liên quan tới triết học và tư tưởng Việt hay tại Việt Nam viết bằng tiếng Anh, tiếng Trung đều được TRIẾT chấp nhận.
– Ngôn ngữ sử dụng cần đảm bảo tính khách quan, khoa học, luận chứng rõ ràng và tránh các từ ngữ dễ gây ngộ nhận, kỳ thị, định kiến, xúc phạm, chủ quan và võ đoán.
4. Thể thức trình bày và trích dẫn
– Thể thức văn bản và trích dẫn theo các chuẩn mực quốc tế. TRIẾT khuyến khích sử dụng chuẩn APA7 (của Hội Tâm lý học Hoa Kỳ) hay chuẩn của Đại học Chicago, đặc biệt với danh mục tài liệu tham khảo. Ví dụ:

– Với hình thức xuất bản chủ yếu là trực tuyến, TRIẾT khuyến khích chú thích ở cuối mỗi trang (footnotes).
– Bài viết cần có cấu trúc đầy đủ các phần: Tóm tắt (không quá 100 từ), Từ khóa (từ 4-6 từ khóa), Danh mục tài liệu tham khảo (theo chuẩn APA7 hoặc Chicago), và Thông tin tác giả (tên, cơ quan cộng tác (nếu có), địa chỉ liên lạc của tác giả liên hệ).
– TRIẾT chỉ nhận bài viết dưới dạng có thể chỉnh sửa, khuyến khích các định dạng MS Word như .doc, .docx, .rtf.
5. Các quy định khác
– Bài viết có thể ở dạng bài nghiên cứu, bài dịch, điểm sách, hoặc phản biện/trao đổi/bình luận.
– Bài nghiên cứu dung lượng không quá 8000 từ; bài điểm sách, phản biện, trao đổi, bình luận không quá 3000 từ; bài dịch tùy theo nguyên tác (có thể lược dịch).
– Những đóng góp có giá trị từng được công bố có thể được đăng lại trên TRIẾT với sự đồng ý của BBT và cá nhân/cơ quan giữ tác quyền của bài gốc. Tác giả/dịch giả cần thông tin rõ ràng về nguồn của ấn bản gốc: Tên tác giả, Tập san (tập, số, trang), Nhà xuất bản, Địa chỉ, Thời gian.
– Trong trường hợp bài dịch, dịch giả chịu trách nhiệm đảm bảo tính bản quyền.
6. Quy trình đăng bài
– (1) Bài viết được gửi từ email của tác giả liên hệ tới email của TRIẾT (tapchitriet@hotmail.com). Tác giả phải gửi 02 phiên bản của bài viết: 01 bản với đầy đủ thông tin tác giả, và 01 bản đã loại trừ mọi thông tin về tác giả (tên, cơ quan và mọi trường hợp thông tin về tác giả được nhắc đến trong nội dung) để phản biện kín.
– (2) Trong vòng 01 tuần, BBT sẽ gửi email xác nhận đã nhận được bài tới tác giả và chuyển bài viết đến Tổng biên tập và các Phó tổng biên tập để xét duyệt sơ bộ. BBT sẽ thông báo đến tác giả nếu bài viết bị loại từ vòng sơ bộ. Nếu không có thông báo, bài viết đã được chuyển sang quy trình tiếp theo.
– (3) BBT sẽ mời hai chuyên gia phản biện kín(blind peer review). Nếu chỉ có một người đồng ý, bài viết sẽ được gửi tới chuyên gia thứ ba. TJPI sẽ thông báo đến tác giả ý kiến của phản biện sau khi có kết quả để phản hồi hoặc sửa chữa.
– (4) BBT chịu trách nhiệm ra quyết định cuối cùng sau khi có ý kiến phản biện kín và thông báo bằng email với tác giả về việc chấp nhận hay không chấp nhận đăng bài và số tạp chí dự kiến sẽ đăng (nếu bài viết được chấp nhận).
– (5) BBT sẽ gửi email thông báo tới tác giả liên hệ khi bài viết được đăng trên website của TJPI.
7. Từ chối đăng bài
Những bài viết không đáp ứng tiêu chuẩn của TRIẾT về mặt chuyên môn, hoặc không tuân thủ Thể lệ nói trên sẽ bị từ chối. Để bảo vệ tính liêm chính, khách quan và công bằng, TRIẾT không có trách nhiệm phải giải trình chi tiết cho tác giả có bài bị từ chối.

SUBMISSION REGULATIONS
1. Topics
– TRIẾT: A Journal of Philosophy and Ideas (TJPI) accept original articles and translations focusing on philosophical topics, with a particular emphasis on Vietnamese issues and subjects related to Vietnam.
2. Publication
– TJPI publishes three online issues annually, in March, July, and November (specific release dates may vary).
– Additionally, TJPI publishes special hard-copy issues with limited print runs, the topics of which are selected by the journal’s Editorial Board and Board of Advisors. These special issues will have their own individual Call for Papers.
3. Languages
– TJPI publishes primarily articles in Vietnamese. However, to promote philosophical discourse in Vietnam, manuscripts written in English or Chinese on topics related to philosophy and thought of Vietnamese or in Vietnam are also accepted.
– Manuscripts should be presented in academic language, maintaining objectivity and scholarly rigor, with appropriate arguments and evidence provided, while avoiding subjective, biased, sensitive, discriminative, insulting, or arbitrary language.
4. Reference and Format
– Citations and references must adhere to international academic standards. TJPI recommends following the APA7 or Chicago citation styles. Some examples:

– To facilitate online publication, TJPI recommends authors use footnotes for citations.
– Each research article submitted must include the following components: an abstract (not exceeding 100 words), keywords (4-6 words), a reference list (in APA7 or Chicago style), and author information (name, institutional affiliations if applicable, and contact details of the corresponding author).
– TJPI only accepts manuscripts in editable formats, such as Microsoft Word files (.doc, .docx, .rtf).
5. Other Specific Regulations
– Manuscripts submitted to TJPI are categorized into the following types: research papers, translated articles, book reviews, and discussions.
– Research papers should not exceed 8,000 words, while book reviews and discussions should not exceed 3,000 words. Any exceptions to these length guidelines will be considered by the Editorial Board.
– TJPI also accepts reprints of academic papers that have had significant impact. For such reprinted articles, permission must be obtained from the copyright holders. Authors must provide complete information about the original source, including the original author(s), the journal or book in which it was published (including volume and page numbers), as well as the publisher, location, and date of publication.
– For translated articles, the translators are solely responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary copyright permissions.
6. Submission and Peer-review Process
– (1) Manuscripts should be submitted directly from the email of the corresponding author to TJPI (tapchitriet@hotmail.com). Authors must provide two versions: one including author information, and another with all author details (names, institutions, and any mentions within the text) removed for blind peer review.
– (2) Within one week, TJPI editors will send a confirmation email to the corresponding author and forward the manuscript to the Editor-in-Chief and Vice Editors for preliminary evaluation. Authors will be notified if their manuscript is rejected at this stage. If no notification is received, it means the manuscript has progressed to the next phase.
– (3) The manuscript will then be sent to two peer reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Peer review follows a blind review process. If the manuscript is accepted by only one reviewer, it will be sent to a third referee. After receiving feedback from the peer reviewers, TJPI will inform the authors regarding any necessary corrections and responses.
– (4) The Editorial Board is responsible for the final decision on acceptance or rejection, and will notify the corresponding author of the outcome, as well as the volume in which the accepted manuscript will be published.
– (5) Once the article is officially published on the TJPI website, the Editorial Board will send an email notification to the corresponding author.
7. Rejection
Manuscripts that do not adhere to TJPI’s regulations or fail to meet the required academic standards will be rejected. In order to maintain academic integrity, objectivity, and fairness, TJPI is not obligated to provide explanations for rejected manuscripts.
